About JISC MediaHub
JISC MediaHub is a new multimedia platform offering a wealth of digital image, video and audio collections accessible from a single interface. The new platform offers access to free-at-the-point-of-use images, video and audio content licensed for educational and research use, via an easy-to-use interface, cross-searching across all the collections and the ability to source content from a wide range of content-providers through a thumbnail and metadata search portal.
What collections are in JISC MediaHub?
JISC MediaHub is a new JISC-funded service, which makes available these collections:
Inside JISC MediaHub
These collections are held by JISC MediaHub. You can view and download the videos, images and audio from these collections if your college or university subscribes to JISC MediaHub.
Outside JISC MediaHub (unrestricted)
These collections are held on websites that can be accessed by any internet user, without a password. You will link from JISC MediaHub to the external website to view or download the resource.
Outside JISC MediaHub (restricted)
These collections are held on websites that may require a password for access. You will link from JISC MediaHub to the external website, then login (if you have a valid password) to view or download the resource.
