Explore by Time
This is a quick way to zoom in on periods of interest, and select resources by date. The content in JISC MediaHub is from the early days of photography, film and sound recording to the present day. Some years have more material than others, and you can explore all of these through the timeline functionality.
By default, this timeline shows the first 100 results produced by your most recent search term, however, it will only show records which have the date field filled. Please refer to the FAQs for details on why some collections have not recorded a date field.
In the lower right hand corner of the timeline, you'll see two icons. Click the icon on the left to choose which pre-defined timeline to view, or you can enter your own search term in the box below.
