<p>Prime Minister Gordon Brown and his wife Sarah have hosted a reception at Lancaster House in central London to thank Team GB, whose efforts resulted in Britain coming fourth in the medals table at the Beijing 2008 Olympic Games. Around 250 athletes and support staff attended the event, including gold medallists Rebecca Adlington, James De Gale, Christine Ohuruogu and Ben Ainslie.</p>
